Oak Gardens Church began on February 11, 2007, when 157 passionate seekers of truth gathered with Pastor Paul Day and his family at the Hilton Garden Inn in Duncanville, Texas. United by a desire for deeper salvation and a closer connection to God's Word, they laid the foundation for what would become a thriving, spirit-led church family.

Fueled by authenticity, truth, and empowerment, Oak Gardens quickly grew in both size and mission: to invest in the next generation and serve the community with love. In 2010, God’s faithfulness led the congregation to their permanent home at 4008 S. Polk Street, where they built their first phase—an auditorium, fellowship hall, and pastor’s study. Over time, they expanded with a state-of-the-art children's and youth wing, followed by a vibrant café and bookstore to foster connection and growth.

Today, Oak Gardens Church is home to nearly 1,000 members, all committed to nurturing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
